Hypnopolis is an original podcast by BMW. Set in a futuristic Solarpunk London in 2064. The story follows Hope Riser who gets woken up from 30 sleep penalty. She wakes up in a different world which she has to navigate as well as prove her innocence.
This was one of my graduation projects for Design for Film and Television. The project includes hand drawn technical drawings, a scale and digital model, several concept visuals and a logo design.

For the design of the apartment I worked with a lot of organic shapes and materials and greenery as well as some modern futuristic elements. Solarpunk is a movement that focusses on how we can incorporate nature within our everyday lives and have clean and sustainable energy running every part of society. For the scale model I cut most of it by hand but also used 3d printing and lasercutting to create it.

The System logo
The System is an AI that controls everything within the society of this story. From government, to applications in your home. The logo is designed to reflect that overall connection, and is used in the concept art to show how the full logo as well as the smaller versions are used within the society.
